AN ACT CREATING THREE (3) ADDITIONAL BRANCHES OF THE REGIONAL TRIAL COURT TO BE STATIONED IN THE CITY OF BACOLOD, SITUATED IN THE PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL, IN THE SIXTH JUDICIAL REGION, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE SECTION 14, PARAGRAPH (G) OF BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 129, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS “THE JUDICIARY REORGANIZATION ACT OF 1980”, AS AMENDED, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. Three (3) additional branches of the Regional Trial Court to be stationed in the City of Bacolod, situated in the Province of Negros Occidental, are hereby created in the Sixth Judicial Region.
SECTION 2. The Supreme Court shall assign the branch numbers of the newly created Regional Trial Court branches in the Sixth Judicial Region.

Creation of Additional Regional Trial Court Branches
- Three (3) additional branches of the Regional Trial Court are created to be stationed in the City of Bacolod, Province of Negros Occidental, in the Sixth Judicial Region. (Section 1)
Assignment of Branch Numbers
- The Supreme Court shall assign the branch numbers of the newly created Regional Trial Court branches in the Sixth Judicial Region. (Section 2)
Operationalization and Funding
- The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, shall immediately include the operationalization of the additional Regional Trial Court branches in the Court's program. (Section 3)
- The funding for the operation of the courts shall be included in the Annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 3)
- The funds shall be appropriated and released only upon the actual organization of the courts and the appointment of its personnel. (Section 3)
Amendment of Existing Laws
- Section 14 (g) of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, otherwise known as "The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980", as amended, and all other inconsistent laws, executive orders, and rules and regulations are hereby amended, repealed or modified accordingly. (Section 4)
Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its complete publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation. (Section 5)
