AN ACT CREATING TWO (2) ADDITIONAL REGIONAL TRIAL COURT BRANCHES IN THE PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL TO BE STATIONED AT THE CITIES OF LA CARLOTA AND BAGO, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE SECTION 14, PARAGRAPH (G) OF BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 129, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS "THE JUDICIARY REORGANIZATION ACT OF 1980″, AS AMENDED, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. Two (2) additional Regional Trial Court branches in the Sixth Judicial Region are hereby created for the Province of Negros Occidental to be stationed at the cities of La Carlota and Bago, respectively.
The Supreme Court shall assign the branch number of the newly-created Regional Trial Court branches in the Sixth Judicial Region.

Creation of Additional Regional Trial Court Branches
- Two (2) additional Regional Trial Court branches are created in the Sixth Judicial Region for the Province of Negros Occidental, to be stationed at the cities of La Carlota and Bago, respectively. (Section 1)
- The Supreme Court shall assign the branch numbers of the newly-created Regional Trial Court branches. (Section 1)
Operationalization and Funding
- The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, in coordination with the Secretary of the Department of Justice, shall immediately include the operationalization of the two (2) additional Regional Trial Court branches in the Court's program. (Section 2)
- The funding for the operation of the new courts shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 2)
- The funds shall be appropriated and released only upon the actual organization of the courts and the appointment of their personnel. (Section 2)
Implementation and Regulations
- The Supreme Court shall issue the necessary rules and regulations for the effective implementation of this Act. (Section 3)
- The Supreme Court may realign the seats of existing branches and their territorial jurisdiction, if warranted. (Section 3)
Amendment and Repeal
- Section 14(g) of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129, otherwise known as "The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980", as amended, and all other laws, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this Act are hereby amended, repealed, or modified accordingly. (Section 4)
Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its complete publication in the Official Gazette or in two (2) newspapers of general circulation. (Section 5)
