Comprehensive Philippine Plan of Action to Eliminate Tuberculosis (Section 4):
- The Secretary of Health shall establish a Comprehensive Philippine Plan of Action to Eliminate Tuberculosis in consultation with appropriate public and private entities.

- The country's targets and strategies in addressing TB (Section 4a)

Strengthening National and Regional Coordinating Committees (Section 5):
- The National Coordinating Committee (NCC) and Regional Coordinating Committee (RCC) shall serve as the National TB Control Program's arm in strengthening nationwide capacity and bridging collaborative efforts between public and private sectors.
- The Secretary of Health shall continue to improve the capability of the NCC and RCC in implementing, monitoring, evaluating the Plan, and coordinating efforts of various sectors.
Research, Demonstration Projects, Education and Training (Section 6):
- The Secretary of Health shall:
- Conduct basic and clinical research based on the health agenda developed with partners (Section 6a)
- Develop demonstration projects to generate evidence for responsive policies and develop regional capabilities for TB prevention, detection, control, and elimination (Section 6b)
- Conduct nationwide public information campaign and education programs (Section 6c)
- Undertake education, training, and clinical skills improvement activities for health care providers (Section 6d)
- Provide support for model centers to sustain initiatives under Sections 6b, 6c, and 6d (Section 6e)
- Collaborate with local and foreign organizations for partnership in various activities and technical and funding support (Section 6f)
Strengthening Regional Centers for Health Development (Section 7):
- The Secretary of Health shall strengthen the Regional Centers for Health Development by:
- Providing free laboratory services through DOH retained hospitals (Section 7a)
- Providing reliable supply of free drugs to patients through local health centers and LGUs (Section 7b)
- Undertaking public information and education programs to train the public on preventing TB spread (Section 7c)
- Training and enhancing the capability of health providers in public and private hospitals (Section 7d)
- Ensuring proper monitoring of TB cases in the country (Section 7e)
- Ensuring monitoring services are extended as far as practicable at the lowest local level health unit (Section 7f)
Education Programs (Section 8):
- The Secretary of Health, in coordination with CHED, shall encourage medical, nursing, medical technology, and allied health institutions to intensify information and education programs, including curriculum development, to increase opportunities for students and providers to learn about TB prevention, detection, management, and control.
Inclusion in Basic Education (Section 9):
- The Secretary of Health, in coordination with the Secretary of DepED, shall work for the inclusion of modules on TB prevention, detection, management, and control in the health curriculum of every public and private elementary and high school.
Media Campaign (Section 10):
- The Secretary of Health, in coordination with PIA, shall encourage local media outlets to launch a media campaign on TB control, treatment, and management using multimedia and electronic communication.
- The campaign shall include materials discouraging the public from spitting in public places and exhibiting unhygienic behavior that may spread the disease.
Regulation on Sale and Use of TB Drugs (Section 11):
- The FDA shall strengthen the implementation of the "No prescription, No anti-TB drugs" policy to regulate the sale and use of anti-TB drugs in the market.
- The FDA shall ensure the quality of TB drugs distributed in the market.
Notification on TB Cases (Section 12):
- All public and private health centers, hospitals, and facilities shall observe the national protocol on TB management and notify the DOH of all TB cases as prescribed under the Manual of Procedures of the National TB Program and the Philippine Plan of Action on Tuberculosis Control.
PhilHealth TB Package (Section 13):
- PhilHealth shall, as far as practicable, expand its benefit package for TB patients to include new, relapse, return-after-default cases, and extension of treatment.
- PhilHealth shall enhance its present outpatient Directly Observed Treatment Short Course (DOTS) package to make it more responsive to patients' needs.
- PhilHealth shall increase the number of accredited DOTS facilities to widen target beneficiaries who may avail of reimbursements.
Report (Section 14):
- The Secretary of Health shall submit an annual report to the Committees on Health of the Senate and the House of Representatives on the activities carried out to comply with the provisions of this Act.
Appropriations (Section 15):
- The amount necessary to implement the provisions of this Act shall be charged against the appropriations of the DOH, DepED, CHED, and PIA under the General Appropriations Act.
Implementing Rules and Regulations (Section 16):
- The DOH, in consultation with DepED, CHED, PIA, LGUs, NGOs, and other concerned entities, shall issue the rules and regulations implementing the provisions of this Act within ninety (90) days from its effectivity.
Separability Clause (Section 17):
- If any provision or part hereof is held invalid or declared unconstitutional, the other provisions which are not affected shall continue to be in full force and effect.
Repealing Clause (Section 18):
- Any law, presidential decree, executive order, letter of instruction, administrative order, rule or regulation contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of this Act is hereby repealed, modified or amended accordingly.
Effectivity (Section 19):
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A COMPREHENSIVE PHILIPPINE PLAN OF ACTION TO ELIMINATE TUBERCULOSIS AS A PUBLIC HEALTH PROBLEM AND APPROPRIATING FUND THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. Title – This Act shall be known as the “Comprehensive Tuberculosis Elimination Plan Act”.
SECTION 2. Declaration of Policy. – The State is mandated to adopt an integrated and comprehensive approach to health development. Towards this end, the State shall support and expand efforts to eliminate tuberculosis as a public health problem by increasing investments for its prevention, treatment and control, and adopting a multisectoral approach in responding to the disease.
SECTION 3. Definition of Terms. – As used in this Act:
