Establishment of a Multi-Species Marine Hatchery
- A multi-species marine hatchery shall be established in Barangay Ata-atahon, Municipality of Nasipit, Province of Agusan del Norte, under the supervision of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources of the Department of Agriculture (BFAR-DA). (Section 1)
- Within two (2) years after the construction of the hatchery, the BFAR shall transfer its management to the local government unit concerned through a memorandum of agreement. (Section 2)
- The BFAR shall implement a training and phasing-in program for local government personnel on the management and operation of the hatchery. (Section 2)

Funding and Management
- The Secretary of Agriculture shall include the establishment of the hatchery in the Department's programs, and its funding shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 3)
- The local government unit concerned shall set aside funds from any available local revenue for the management and operation of the hatchery. (Section 3)
- The Secretary of Agriculture shall issue rules and regulations on the supervision, monitoring, transfer, or withdrawal of the hatchery by the BFAR. (Section 4)

Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. (Section 5)
