- A ten-bed municipal hospital shall be established in the Municipality of South Upi, Province of Maguindanao, to be known as the South Upi Municipal Hospital. (Section 1)
- The hospital shall be under the supervision of the Department of Health.
Funding and Appropriations
- The funds necessary to establish the hospital shall be charged against the appropriations authorized for the purpose under the Fiscal Year 1989 General Appropriations Act. (Section 2)
- Subsequent funds for the operation and maintenance of the hospital shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Assurance of Personnel and Maintenance Funds
- Before the construction of the hospital, the Secretary of Health shall issue a written assurance that: (Section 3)
    - Personnel of the hospital will be appointed.
    - Funds for the maintenance and operation of the hospital have been appropriated.
Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect upon its approval. (Section 4)

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TEN-BED MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SOUTH UPI, PROVINCE OF MAGUINDANAO, TO BE KNOWN AS THE SOUTH UPI MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled::
Section 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Health, a ten-bed municipal hospital in the Municipality of South Upi, Province of Maguindanao, to be known as the South Upi Municipal Hospital.
Section 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be charged against the appropriations authorized for the purpose under the Fiscal Year 1989 General Appropriations Act. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of the herein hospital shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
