- Keep books, records and accounts open for inspection by the Auditor General, and submit quarterly reports showing gross receipts. (Section 6)
Terms and Conditions
- Franchise is subject to the provisions of Commonwealth Act No. 146, as amended. (Section 5)
- Franchise may be amended, altered or repealed by the Congress of the Philippines when public interest requires it. (Section 5)
- If a competing franchise has more favorable terms, those terms shall automatically apply to this franchise as well. (Section 7)
Effectivity
- The Act shall take effect upon its approval. (Section 8)

REPUBLIC ACT No. 2379
AN ACT GRANTING SEGUNDINO B. INOVEJAS A FRANCHISE TO CONSTRUCT, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN AN ICE PLANT IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CATBALOGAN, PROVINCE OF SAMAR, AND TO SELL ICE THEREIN.
Section 1. Subject to the conditions imposed by this Act, there is granted to Segundino B. Inovejas, hereinafter referred to as the grantee, a franchise to construct, operate and maintain an ice plant in the Municipality of Catbalogan, Province of Samar, for the purpose of manufacturing and distributing ice therein and to charge and collect a schedule or prices and rates for the ice so furnished, which schedule of prices and rates shall at all times be subject to regulation by the Public Service Commission.
Section 2. The grantee shall manufacture and supply is up to the limit of the capacity of his plant, said limit to be determined by the Public Service Commission.
