Summary of Republic Act No. 10616Establishment of a Fish Port
- A fish port shall be established in the City of Dagupan, Province of Pangasinan. (Section 1)
- The fish port shall be under the supervision of the Department of Agriculture through the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA). (Section 1)
Implementing Rules and Regulations
- The Department of Agriculture, through the PFDA, shall formulate the rules and regulations necessary for the effective implementation of this Act. (Section 2)
Appropriations
- The Secretary of Agriculture shall include the construction of the fish port in the Department's program, and the funding shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 3)
- The local government unit concerned shall set aside funds from any available local revenues in an amount deemed appropriate for the operationalization of the fish port. (Section 3)
Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation. (Section 4)

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10616
AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A FISH PORT IN THE CITY OF DAGUPAN, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. Establishment of a Fish Port. – There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Agriculture through the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA), a fish port in the City of Dagupan, Province of Pangasinan.
Section 2. Implementing Rules and Regulations. – The Department of Agriculture, through the PFDA, shall formulate the rules and regulations necessary for the effective implementation of this Act.
