AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SCHOOL OF FISHERIES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SANTA MARGARITA

REPUBLIC ACT No. 5783 AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SCHOOL OF FISHERIES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SANTA MARGARITA, PROVINCE OF SAMAR, TO BE KNOWN AS THE CLARENCIO CALAGOS MEMORIAL SCHOOL OF FISHERIES, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATING OF FUNDS THEREFOR. Section 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Director of Vocational Education, a school of fisheries in the Municipality of Santa Margarita, Province of Samar, to be known as the Clarencio Calagos Memorial School of Fisheries. The school site shall be determined by the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Santa Margarita, in consultation with the Director of Vocational Education. Section 2. The Secretary of Education shall issue the rules and regulations necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act. Section 3. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy.
