AN ACT RECONSTITUTING THE DISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICES IN THE PROVINCE OF MISAMIS ORIENTAL AND THE CITY OF CAGAYAN DE ORO AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Reconstitution of District Engineering Offices in Misamis Oriental and Cagayan de Oro City
- The sub-district engineering office in Gingoog City shall be upgraded to a regular district engineering office, known as the First District Engineering Office. (Section 1)
- The Misamis Oriental District Engineering Office shall be relocated from Cagayan de Oro City to the Municipality of El Salvador and shall be known as the Second District Engineering Office. (Section 1)
- The sub-district engineering office in Cagayan de Oro City shall be upgraded to a regular district engineering office, known as the Cagayan de Oro City District Engineering Office. (Section 1)

Coverage of District Engineering Offices
- The First District Engineering Office shall comprise the City of Gingoog and the municipalities of Magsaysay, Medina, Talisayan, Balingoan, Kinoguitan, Sugbongcogon, Binuangan, Lagonglong, Salay, and Balingasag. (Section 2)
- The Second District Engineering Office shall comprise the municipalities of Jasaan, Claveria, Villanueva, Tagoloan, Opol, El Salvador, Alubijid, Laguindingan, Gitagum, Libertad, Initao, Naawan, Manticao, and Lugait. (Section 2)
- The Cagayan de Oro City District Engineering Office shall comprise the City of Cagayan de Oro. (Section 2)

Distribution of Personnel, Resources, and Equipment
- The personnel, resources, and equipment of the existing Misamis Oriental District Engineering Office shall be divided between the two (2) district engineering offices in accordance with existing laws and regulations. (Section 3)
- The Cagayan de Oro District Engineering Office shall retain the existing personnel, resources, and equipment of the sub-engineering office. (Section 3)

Funding
- The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. (Section 4)

Implementation
- The Secretary of Public Works and Highways shall issue the necessary rules and regulations for the effective implementation of this Act. (Section 5)

Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect upon its approval. (Section 6)
