- Barangay Sta. Maria in the Municipality of Presentacion, Province of Camarines Sur is renamed as Barangay Parubcan. (Section 1)
Ratification through Plebiscite
- The renaming shall be effective upon ratification by a majority of votes cast by qualified voters in a plebiscite conducted and supervised by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) in the present Barangay Sta. Maria. (Section 2)
- The expenses for the plebiscite shall be borne by the Municipality of Presentacion, Camarines Sur. (Section 2)
Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. (Section 3)

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11850
AN ACT RENAMING BARANGAY STA. MARIA IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PRESENTACION, PROVINCE OF CAMARINES SUR AS BARANGAY PARUBCAN
SECTION 1. Barangay Sta. Maria in the Municipality of Presentacion, Province of Camarines Sur is hereby renamed as Barangay Parubcan.
SECTION 2. The renaming of Barangay Sta. Maria as Barangay Parubcan shall be effective upon ratification of the majority of the votes cast by qualified voters in a plebiscite to be conducted and supervised by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) in the present Barangay Sta. Maria.
The expenses for such plebiscite shall be borne by the Municipality of Presentacion, Camarines Sur.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
Approved:
Lapsed into law on June 18, 2022 without the signature of the President, in accordance with Article VI, Section 27 (1) of the Constitution.
