Applicability of Higher Education Modernization Act
- The provisions of Republic Act No. 8292, otherwise known as the "Higher Education Modernization Act of 1997," shall form part of this Act. (Section 2)
Repealing Clause
- All laws, presidential decrees, executive orders, rules and regulations contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are repealed or modified accordingly. (Section 3)
Effectivity Clause
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. (Section 4)

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11756
AN ACT RENAMING THE ADIONG MEMORIAL POLYTECHNIC STATE COLLEGE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DITSAAN-RAMAIN, PROVINCE OF LANAO DEL SUR, AS THE "ADIONG MEMORIAL STATE COLLEGE"
SECTION 1. The Adiong Memorial Polytechnic State College located in the Municipality of Ditsaan-Ramain, Province of Lanao del Sur, is hereby renamed as the Adiong Memorial State College.
SECTION 2. The provisions of Republic Act No. 8292, otherwise known as the "Higher Education Modernization Act of 1997," shall form part of this Act.
SECTION 3. All laws, presidential decrees, executive orders, rules and regulations contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are repealed or modified accordingly.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
