Republic of the Philippines Congress of the Philippines Metro Manila Eighth Congress Republic Act No. 6639 &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp December 10, 1987 AN ACT RENAMING THE MANILA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AS THE NINOY AQUINO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:: Section 1. The name of the Manila International Airport is hereby changed to Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Section 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. *Enacted without executive approval, November 27, 1987.
