Summary of Republic Act No. 9886

Separation and Conversion of School
- The Andili National High School & - Nuevo Iloco Annex in Barangay Nuevo Iloco, Municipality of Mawab, Province of Compostela Valley is separated from the Andili National High School and converted into an independent national high school to be known as Nuevo Iloco National High School. (Section 1)

Transfer of Assets and Liabilities
- All personnel, assets, liabilities and records of the Andili National High School & - Nuevo Iloco Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the Nuevo Iloco National High School. (Section 2)

Appropriations
- The Secretary of Education shall immediately include the operationalization of the Nuevo Iloco National High School in the Department's program, with the initial funding charged against the current year's appropriations of the Andili National High School & - Nuevo Iloco Annex. (Section 3)
- Thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued operation of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 3)

Implementation
- The Secretary of Education shall issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act. (Section 4)

Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette. (Section 5)
