Summary of Republic Act No. 9738Separation and Conversion of School
- The Cagubatan National High School - Am-am Annex in Barangay Cadad-anan, Municipality of Tadian, Mountain Province is separated from the Cagubatan National High School and converted into an independent national high school to be known as Am-am National High School. (Section 1)
Transfer of Assets and Liabilities
- All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Cagubatan National High School - Am-am Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the Am-am National High School. (Section 2)
Appropriations
- The Secretary of Education shall immediately include the operationalization of the Am-am National High School in the Department's program, with the initial funding charged against the current year's appropriations of the Cagubatan National High School - Am-am Annex. (Section 3)
- Thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued operation of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 3)
Implementation
- The Secretary of Education shall issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act. (Section 4)
Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette. (Section 5)

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. Separation and Conversion into a National High School. - The Cagubatan National High School - Am·am Annex in Barangay CadadManan, Municipality of Tadian, Mountain Province is hereby separated from the Cagubatan National High School and converted into an independent national high school to be known as Am·am National High School.
