Summary of Republic Act No. 10504Separation and Conversion of School
- The F. Bustamante National High School – Mahayag Annex in Barangay Mahayag, Bunawan District, City of Davao is separated from the F. Bustamante National High School and converted into an independent national high school to be known as Mahayag National High School. (Section 1)
Transfer of Assets and Liabilities
- All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the F. Bustamante National High School – Mahayag Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the Mahayag National High School. (Section 2)
Appropriations
- The Secretary of Education shall immediately include the operationalization of the Mahayag National High School in the Department's program, with the initial funding charged against the current year's appropriations of the F. Bustamante National High School – Mahayag Annex. (Section 3)
- Thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued operation of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 3)
Implementation
- The Secretary of Education shall issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act. (Section 4)
Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette. (Section 5)

AN ACT SEPARATING THE F. BUSTAMANTE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL – MAHAYAG ANNEX IN BARANGAY MAHAYAG, BUNAWAN DISTRICT, CITY OF DAVAO FROM THE F. BUSTAMANTE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, CONVERTING IT INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS MAHAYAG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled;
Section 1. Separation and Conversion into a National High School. – The F. Bustamante National High School – Mahayag Annex in Barangay Mahayag, Bunawan District, City of Davao is hereby separated from the F. Bustamante National High School and converted into an independent national high school to be known as Mahayag National High School.
