Summary of Republic Act No. 10473

Separation and Conversion of School
- The Iligan City East National High School – Hinaplanon Annex in Barangay Hinaplanon, City of Iligan, Province of Lanao del Norte is separated from the Iligan City East National High School and converted into an independent national high school to be known as Hinaplanon National High School. (Section 1)

Transfer of Assets and Liabilities
- All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Iligan City East National High School – Hinaplanon Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the Hinaplanon National High School. (Section 2)

Appropriations
- The Secretary of Education shall immediately include the operationalization of the Hinaplanon National High School in the Department's program, with the initial funding charged against the current year's appropriations of the Iligan City East National High School – Hinaplanon Annex. (Section 3)
- Thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued operation of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 3)

Implementation
- The Secretary of Education shall issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act. (Section 4)

Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette. (Section 5)
