Republic Act No. 10500Summary:
- Separates the Iligan City East National High School – Kiwalan Annex from the Iligan City East National High School and converts it into an independent national high school known as Kiwalan National High School. (Section 1)
- Transfers all personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Kiwalan Annex to the newly established Kiwalan National High School. (Section 2)
- Appropriates funds for the operationalization of the Kiwalan National High School:
- Initial funding shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Kiwalan Annex. (Section 3)
- Subsequent funding shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 3)
- Authorizes the Secretary of Education to issue rules and regulations for the implementation of the Act. (Section 4)
- Specifies that the Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette. (Section 5)

AN ACT SEPARATING THE ILIGAN CITY EAST NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL – KIWALAN ANNEX IN BARANGAY KIWALAN, CITY OF ILIGAN, PROVINCE OF LANAO DEL NORTE FROM THE ILIGAN CITY EAST NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, CONVERTING IT INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS KIWALAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. Separation and Conversion into a National High School. – The Iligan City East National High School – Kiwalan Annex in Barangay Kiwalan, City of Iligan, Province of Lanao del Norte is hereby separated from the Iligan City East National High School and converted into an independent national high school to be known as Kiwalan National High School.
