Summary of Republic Act No. 10208Separation and Conversion of School
- The Katipunan National High School – Sitog Annex in Barangay Sitog, Municipality of Katipunan, Province of Zamboanga del Norte is separated from the Katipunan National High School and converted into an independent national high school to be known as Sitog National High School. (Section 1)
Transfer of Assets and Liabilities
- All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Katipunan National High School – Sitog Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the Sitog National High School. (Section 2)
Appropriations
- The Secretary of Education shall immediately include the operationalization of the Sitog National High School in the Department's program, with the initial funding charged against the current year's appropriations of the Katipunan National High School – Sitog Annex. (Section 3)
- Thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued operation of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 3)
Implementation
- The Secretary of Education shall issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act. (Section 4)
Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette. (Section 5)

AN ACT SEPARATING THE KATIPUNAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL – SITOG ANNEX IN BARANGAY SITOG, MUNICIPALITY OF KATIPUNAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE FROM THE KATIPUNAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, CONVERTING IT INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS SITOG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. Separation and Conversion into a National High School. – The Katipunan National High School – Sitog Annex in Barangay Sitog, Municipality of Katipunan, Province of Zamboanga del Norte is hereby separated from the Katipunan National High School and converted into an independent national high school to be known as Sitog National High School.
