Summary of Republic Act No. 10237

Separation and Conversion of School
- The Santa Fe National High School – Canabuan Annex in Barangay Canabuan, Municipality of Santa Fe, Province of Nueva Vizcaya is separated from the Santa Fe National High School and converted into an independent national high school to be known as Canabuan National High School. (Section 1)

Transfer of Assets and Liabilities
- All personnel, assets, liabilities and records of the Santa Fe National High School – Canabuan Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the Canabuan National High School. (Section 2)

Appropriations
- The Secretary of Education shall immediately include the operationalization of the Canabuan National High School in the Department's program, with the initial funding charged against the current year's appropriation of the Santa Fe National High School – Canabuan Annex. (Section 3)
- Thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued operation of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 3)

Implementation
- The Secretary of Education shall issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act. (Section 4)

Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after republication in the Official Gazette. (Section 5)
