AN ACT SEPARATING THE SIMATA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL – PARASAN ANNEX IN BARANGAY PARASAN

Summary of Republic Act No. 10226

Separation and Conversion into a National High School (Section 1):
- The Simata National High School – Parasan Annex in Barangay Parasan, Municipality of Molave, Province of Zamboanga del Sur is separated from the Simata National High School.
- It is converted into an independent national high school to be known as Parasan National High School.

Transfer of Assets and Liabilities (Section 2):
- All personnel, records, assets and liabilities of the Simata National High School – Parasan Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the Parasan National High School.

Appropriations (Section 3):
- The Secretary of Education shall immediately include the operationalization of the Parasan National High School in the Department's program.
- The initial funding shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Simata National High School – Parasan Annex.
- Thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued operation of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Implementation (Section 4):
- The Secretary of Education shall issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

Effectivity (Section 5):
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
