Summary of Republic Act No. 10274Separation and Conversion of School
- The Tinabilan National High School – Palompon Annex in Barangay Central II, Municipality of Palompon, Province of Leyte is separated from the Tinabilan National High School and converted into an independent national high school to be known as Palompon National High School. (Section 1)
Transfer of Assets and Liabilities
- All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Tinabilan National High School – Palompon Annex are transferred to and absorbed by the Palompon National High School. (Section 2)
Appropriations
- The Secretary of Education shall immediately include the operationalization of the Palompon National High School in the Department's program, with the initial funding charged against the current year's appropriations of the Tinabilan National High School – Palompon Annex. (Section 3)
- The amount necessary for the continued operation of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 3)
Implementation
- The Secretary of Education shall issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act. (Section 4)
Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette. (Section 5)

AN ACT SEPARATING THE TINABILAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL – PALOMPON ANNEX IN BARANGAY CENTRAL II, MUNICIPALITY OF PALOMPON, PROVINCE OF LEYTE FROM THE TINABILAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, CONVERTING IT INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS PALOMPON NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. Separation and Conversion into a National High School. – The Tinabilan National High School – Palompon Annex in Barangay Central II, Municipality of Palompon, Province of Leyte is hereby separated from the Tinabilan National High School and converted into an independent national high school to be known as Palompon National High School.
