• Eligible veterans who are disabled due to sickness, disease, wounds, or injuries sustained in line of duty shall receive monthly pensions ranging from ₱600 to ₱1,125, plus additional amounts for spouses and unmarried minor children, based on the disability rating percentage.
• The pension's effectivity date depends on when the application was filed.
• The Disability Rating Board shall periodically re-evaluate the veteran's disability, except in certain cases.
Pension for Veterans of the Revolution (Section 9)
• Veterans who served during the Philippine Revolution and the Philippine-American War shall receive a monthly pension of ₱600, plus ₱150 each for their spouse and unmarried minor children.
Old-Age Pension (Sections 10-11)
• Veterans aged 65 or older shall receive a monthly old-age pension of ₱500.
• The surviving spouse of a veteran who received or was eligible for old-age pension shall receive a monthly pension of ₱500 until remarriage or death.
Death Pension (Sections 12-14)
• The surviving spouse, unmarried minor children, or indigent parents of a veteran who died in line of duty or due to service-related causes shall receive monthly pensions ranging from ₱250 to ₱500, depending on their relationship to the veteran.
• The surviving spouse of a veteran of the Philippine Revolution shall receive a monthly pension of ₱600 until remarriage or death.
• The right to death gratuity benefits shall cease, and beneficiaries shall be eligible for death pension instead.
Hospitalization, Medical Care, and Treatment (Sections 15-18)
• The Philippine Veterans Affairs Office shall provide hospitalization, medical care, and treatment to eligible veterans, military retirees, disabled veterans, and their dependents.
• The Veterans Memorial Medical Center shall be upgraded and expanded to accommodate eligible beneficiaries.
• Veterans wards shall be established in selected government hospitals across provinces and cities.
• Veterans and their dependents may be admitted to other government hospitals if more convenient.
Burial Benefits (Sections 19-20)
• The Philippine Veterans Affairs Office shall furnish a flag to drape the casket of each deceased veteran, which shall be presented to the next of kin after interment.
• The next of kin of a deceased veteran shall receive ₱4,000 as burial assistance upon application within two years of the veteran's death.
General Provisions (Sections 21-32)
• Claims for benefits shall not prescribe, except as otherwise provided.
• Applications for benefits shall be filed with the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office or the General Headquarters of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
• Pensions are exempt from income tax, attachment, levy, garnishment, or any legal proceedings.
• Fraudulent claims shall be disapproved or voided, and the parties involved shall be subject to fines, imprisonment, and refund of amounts paid.
• Benefits may be withheld if the veteran is found guilty of gross human rights violations.
• No fee or compensation shall be charged for services related to claims, unless authorized.
• Legal officers and investigators may administer oaths and take testimony related to claims.
• Pensions shall be adjusted according to general salary and wage adjustments in the National Government and Armed Forces.
• The Department of National Defense shall formulate implementing rules and regulations.
• An appropriation of ₱1,298,000,000 is provided for initial implementation, with subsequent funding through the annual General Appropriations Act.
• Separability and repealing clauses are included.
• The Act shall take effect upon approval.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled::

PRELIMINARY PROVISIONS
Section 1. Declaration of Policy. – It is hereby declared to be the policy of the State to help foster the socioeconomic security and general well-being of the country's veterans in recognition of their patriotic services in times of war and peace for the cause of freedom and democracy; for the attainment of national unity, independence, and socioeconomic advancement; and for the maintenance of peace and order, in keeping with the goals of the Government and the aspirations of the people.
