AN ACT TO ESTABLISH A BREEDING STATION IN THE BARRIO OF UPI IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF GAMU

Summary of Republic Act No. 1995

Establishment of Breeding Station
- A breeding station called the Isabela Breeding Station shall be established under the supervision of the Director of Animal Industry. (Section 1)
- The breeding station shall be located in Barrio Upi, Municipality of Gamu, Province of Isabela. (Section 1)

Land Acquisition
- The Director of Animal Industry shall establish the breeding station on a suitable public or private land of not less than 25 hectares that may be reserved or acquired for the purpose. (Section 2)

Funding and Appropriation
- An amount of 50,000 pesos is appropriated from the National Treasury to be expended by the Director of Animal Industry for the following purposes: (Section 3)
    - Purchase of breeding animals
    - Purchase of supplies and materials
    - Construction of buildings, sheds, corrals, and other structures
    - Establishment of water system
    - Salaries and wages
    - Other necessary expenses to carry out the purposes of the Act for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1958
- Funds necessary for the operation and maintenance of the breeding station in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts. (Section 3)

Effectivity
- The Act shall take effect upon its approval. (Section 4)
