MALACAÑANGM a n i l a PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 387 February 2, 1974 APPROPRIATING FORTY THOUSAND PESOS AS GRATUITY TO HEIRS OF ROGELIO L. DOMINGO AND ANTONIO DAYAO, AGENTS OF THE NATIONAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION, WHO DIED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR DUTIES WHEREAS, Rogelio L. Domingo and Antonio E. Dayao, agents of the National Bureau of Investigation, died while in the performance of their duties in connection with the relentless and all-out campaign of the government against illegal traffic in narcotics; WHEREAS, although the death of the two devoted NBI agents cannot be compensated in terms of money, a grant of gratuity by the government is a modest token of recognition to their supreme sacrifice in fighting drug addiction in the Philippines, and one way of helping the heirs for the loss of their bread-winners; and WHEREAS, there was pending in the defunct Congress of the Philippines H.B. 2839 appropriating the same amount as gratuity to the heirs of the fallen agents; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E.
