MALACAÑANGM a n i l a PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 297 September 19, 1973 APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE OPERATION OF THE TASK FORCE ON HUMAN SETTLEMENT WHEREAS, under Executive Order No. 419 dated September 19, 1973, a Task Force on Human Settlements was created to conduct a study on the nature, policy issues and strategies related to a comprehensive and integrative human settlement program in this country; and WHEREAS, there is a need to appropriate the necessary amount to carry out the purposes and objectives of the Task Force on Human Settlement; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution as Commander-in-Chief of all the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and pursuant to Proclamation No. 1081 dated September 21, 1972, and General Order No. 1 dated September 22, 1972, do hereby order and decree: Section 1.
