- The Administrator of the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) is authorized to coordinate all pump irrigation programs of the national government.
• This includes programs administered by the Irrigation Service Unit of the Department of Public Works and Communications and other offices. (Entire law)
• This is an additional duty for the NIA Administrator, in addition to their regular duties as NIA Administrator. (Entire law)
Modification of Executive Order No. 235
- Executive Order No. 235 dated June 1, 1970, is modified accordingly to reflect the new authority given to the NIA Administrator. (Entire law)

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 386 March 14, 1972
AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR, NATIONAL IRRIGATION ADMINISTRATION, TO COORDINATE ALL PUMP IRRIGATION PROGRAMS
By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Administrator, National Irrigation Administration (NIA), in addition to his regular duties as NIA Administrator, to coordinate all pump irrigation programs of the national government, including those administered by the Irrigation Service Unit of the Department of Public Works and Communications and other offices.
Executive Order No. 235 dated June 1, 1970, is hereby modified accordingly.
Done in the City of Manila, this 14th day of March, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-two.
