Clarification on the Effectivity Date of Republic Act No. 11360

February 28, 2020 LABOR ADVISORY NO. 010-20 CLARIFICATION ON THE EFFECTIVITY DATE OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11360 I. PURPOSE This Labor Advisory is issued to guide all concerned on the effectivity date of Republic Act No. 11360 entitled 'An Act Providing that Service Charges Collected by Hotels, Restaurants and Other Similar Establishments be Distributed in Full to All Covered Employees, Amending for the Purpose Presidential Decree No. 442, as Amended, Otherwise Known as the "Labor Code of the Philippines."' HTcADC II. EFFECTIVITY Republic Act No. 11360 was signed into law on 07 August 2019. It was published on 19 August 2019 in Manila Bulletin and Business Mirror, and took effect fifteen days after its publication or on 04 September 2019. Its Implementing Rules and Regulations (Department Order No. 206, Series of 2019) was signed on 19 November 2019 and published on 26 November 2019 in Manila Times.
