EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 375 October 30, 1989

CONSTITUTING THE COTABATO AGUSAN RIVER BASIN PROGRAM OFFICE AS A PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE UNDER THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND HIGHWAYS

WHEREAS, the Cotabato-Agusan River Basin Development Program has a geographic multi-regional coverage embracing water resources and related development activities;

WHEREAS, the coordination and supervision of the planning and implementation of specific projects on the Cotabato-Agusan River Basin are presently undertaken by the Cotabato-Agusan River Basin Program Office, which is attached to the Department of Public Works and Highways; and

WHEREAS, there is an urgent need to integrate such multi-regional activities into one organizational framework under the Department of Public Works and Highways, which has a primary responsibility over the infrastructure sector;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order and direct:

Summary of Executive Order No. 375

Disposition of the Cotabato-Agusan River Basin Program Office (Sec. 1)
- The Cotabato-Agusan River Basin Program Office is constituted as a Project Management Office under the Department of Public Works and Highways.

Funding (Sec. 2)
- The budgetary outlay for FY 1989 of the Cotabato-Agusan River Basin Program Office as provided under Republic Act No. 6688 shall be released to the Department of Public Works and Highways.
- Succeeding appropriations for the Project Management Office shall be provided under the Department of Public Works and Highways.

Repealing Clause (Sec. 3)
- All orders, rules, regulations, and other issuances or parts thereof, which are inconsistent with this Executive Order are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.

Effectivity Clause (Sec. 4)
- This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
