Separation and Conversion of School
- The Mariano Peralta National High School-Sangay Extension in Barangay Sangay, Municipality of Malita, Province of Davao Occidental is separated from the Mariano Peralta National High School and converted into an independent national high school to be known as Ernesto Lopez National High School. (Section 1)

Transfer of Resources
- All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Mariano Peralta National High School-Sangay Extension are transferred to and absorbed by the Ernesto Lopez National High School. (Section 2)

Funding and Operationalization
- The Secretary of Education shall immediately include the operationalization of the Ernesto Lopez National High School in the Department's program. (Section 3)
- The initial funding shall be charged against the current year's appropriation of the Mariano Peralta National High School-Sangay Extension. (Section 3)
- Thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued operation of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 3)

Implementation Rules and Regulations
- Within one hundred twenty (120) days after the approval of this Act, the Secretary of Education shall promulgate the rules and regulations implementing the provisions of this Act. (Section 4)

Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. (Section 5)
