Conversion of Medina Extension Hospital into a General Hospital
- The Medina Extension Hospital in Medina, Misamis Oriental is converted into a general hospital called the First Misamis Oriental General Hospital. (Section 1)
- It will be under the direct control and supervision of the Department of Health (DOH). (Section 1)
- It will cease to be an extension hospital of the Northern Mindanao Medical Center in Cagayan de Oro City. (Section 1)
- Any future increase in bed capacity and upgrading of facilities will be based on a hospital development plan prepared by the DOH. (Section 1)

Funding and Appropriations
- The Secretary of Health shall include the operation and maintenance of the First Misamis Oriental General Hospital in the DOH's program. (Section 2)
- The initial funding of Nine hundred million pesos (P900,000,000.00) shall be charged against the current year's appropriations of the Medina Extension Hospital. (Section 2)
- An additional amount of Nine hundred million pesos (P900,000,000.00) is appropriated for the implementation of this Act, to be included and funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Act under the Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP) of the DOH. (Section 2)
- Subsequent funding for continued operation shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 2)

Implementation and Rules
- The Secretary of Health shall prepare and issue the necessary rules and regulations for the effective implementation of this Act, consistent with the hospital development plan. (Section 3)

Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. (Section 4)
