    - Presidential Assistant on National Minorities
    - Presidential Assistant on Legal Affairs
    - Undersecretary of Public Works
    - Undersecretary of Labor
    - Undersecretary of National Defense
    - Undersecretary of Trade
    - Undersecretary of Local Governments and Community Development
    - Undersecretary of Tourism
    - Undersecretary of Youth and Sports Development
    - Mayor of Manila
    - Chairman, National Historical Commission
    - Director, National Media Production Center
    - President, Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities
    - President, Civic Assembly of Women of the Philippines
    - Presidential Protocol Officer (Member-Secretary)
- The Committee shall meet at the call of the Chairman and may create sub-committees as necessary. (Section 2)
- The Committee is authorized to call upon any government department, bureau, office, agency, or instrumentality, including government-owned or controlled corporations, for assistance in discharging its duties and functions. (Section 3)

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 501 March 30, 1978 CREATING A NATIONAL COMMITTEE TO TAKE CHARGE OF THE CELEBRATION OF PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY ON 12 JUNE 1978 Pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby create a national committee to take charge of the celebration of Philippine Independence Day on June 12, 1978.
