Creation of Presidential Committee on Proposed Constitutional Amendments
- A Presidential Coordinating Committee on Proposed Constitutional Amendments is created to collate and formulate various proposed constitutional amendments from all sectors, public and private. (Section 1)
- The Committee is composed of the following members:
    - Hon. Ricardo C. Puno (Chairman)
    - Hon. Jaime C. Laya (representing the Cabinet Standing Committee)
    - Hon. Juan Ponce Enrile (representing the Military)
    - Hon. Estelito P. Mendoza (representing governors, mayors, and other local officials)
    - Hon. Juneval Guerrero (representing the Judiciary)
    - Hon. Vicente Santiago (representing the Commission on Elections)
    - Hon. Edgardo J. Angara (representing private citizens) (Section 2)
- The Committee members shall serve without remuneration, and their positions are honorary. (Section 3)
- The Committee shall coordinate with the Leadership of Batasang Pambansa in discharging its functions and duties. (Section 4)
- The Chairman shall submit a report and recommendation to the President/Prime Minister within 120 days. (Section 5)
- The Minister of the Budget is directed to make appropriate provisions for funding and carrying out this Executive Order. (Section 6)

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 627 October 30, 1980 CREATING A PRESIDENTIAL COMMITTEE ON PROPOSED CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS A Presidential Coordinating Committee on Proposed Constitutional Amendments is hereby constituted and organized for the purpose of collating and formulating the various constitutional amendments now being proposed by and from all sectors, public and private. The following are hereby designated to compose the committee: Hon. Ricardo C. Puno Chairman Hon. Jaime C. Laya Member, representing the Cabinet Standing Committee Hon. Juan Ponce Enrile Member, representing the Military Hon. Estelito P. Mendoza Member representing the governors, mayors, and other local officials Hon. Juneval Guerrero Member, representing the Judiciary Hon. Vicente Santiago Member, representing the Commission on Elections, and Hon. Edgardo J. Angara Member, representing the private citizens. The Chairman and Members of the Committee herein constituted shall serve without remuneration, and their positions shall be purely honorary in character.
