Summary of Presidential Decree No. 1330Creation of Barangay Pulang-Lupa Dos
- Section 1: The subdivisions of Vergenville, Doña Julita, Doña Paz, St. Joseph, San Antonio, Martinville, and Airmen's Village in Barangay Pulanglupa, Las Piñas, Metro Manila, are detached and separated to form the new and independent Barangay Pulang-Lupa Dos.
- The legal existence of the mother barangay, Barangay Pulanglupa, is not affected.
Applicability of Laws
- Section 2: Except as provided in the decree, all laws applicable to regular barangays shall apply to Barangay Pulang-Lupa Dos.
Transition of Barangay Officials
- Section 3: The current elective barangay officials of Barangay Pulanglupa shall continue their duties in the newly created Barangay Pulang-Lupa Dos until new officials are appointed by the President.
- The appointed officials shall hold office until their successors are elected in the regular barangay elections following the issuance of the decree, unless removed earlier by the President.
- Necessary appointive officers and employees shall be appointed as provided by existing laws to organize or complete the government personnel of Barangay Pulang-Lupa Dos.
Transfer of Assets and Liabilities
- Section 4: Upon the effectivity of the decree, the proportionate share of Barangay Pulang-Lupa Dos in the obligations, funds, assets, and other property of Barangay Pulanglupa shall be transferred by the President to the newly created barangay upon the recommendation of the Commission on Audit.
Repealing Clause
- Section 5: All laws, executive orders, or regulations inconsistent with the decree are repealed or modified accordingly.
Effectivity
- Section 6: The decree shall take effect immediately.

PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 1330
CREATING BARANGAY PULANG-LUPA DOS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LAS PIÑAS, METRO MANILA
WHEREAS, the fundamental aim of the State is to hasten up the pace of socio-economic development throughout the country;
WHEREAS, the effective implementation of the declared programs of the government on development hinges primarily on the administrative efficiency of each and every local government units;
WHEREAS, it has been the clamor of the residents of the proposed barangay with the conformity of the elective officials of the locality to create the new barangay so as to achieve a closer supervision of the execution of the developmental programs of the locality;
WHEREAS, the creation of the proposed barangay will redound and contribute greatly to the upliftment of the socio-economic well-being of the residents therein;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers in me vested by the Constitution, do hereby order and decree, as part of the law of the land, the following:
