EXECUTIVE ORDER No. 101

DECLARING AND DELINEATING THE CAPINPIN PORT ZONE AND PLACING IT UNDER THE ADMINISTRATIVE JURISDICTION OF THE PHILIPPINE PORTS AUTHORITY (PPA)

WHEREAS, the Port of Capinpin in Orion, Bataan has the potential to be developed into a major port within the Manila Bay Area; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to define the Port Zone of Capinpin for the planning and development of the necessary port facilities thereat to support the demands of shipping trade within the region.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:

SECTION 1. Port of Capinpin. The territorial jurisdiction of the Port of Capinpin situated in Barangay Puting Buhangin, Municipality of Orion, Province of Bataan, is hereby delineated and established, particularly described as follows:

Login to see full content Summary of Executive Order No. 101 Delineation of Capinpin Port Zone - The territorial jurisdiction of the Port of Capinpin in Barangay Puting Buhangin, Orion, Bataan is delineated and established with specific boundaries and coordinates. (Section 1) - The total area of the Capinpin Port Zone is 617,323.41 square meters. (Section 1) Administrative Jurisdiction of PPA - The Capinpin Port Zone is placed under the administrative jurisdiction of the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA). (Section 2) - The PPA shall implement a program for the proper zoning, planning, development, and utilization of the port, consistent with the regional industrial plans of the government. (Section 2) Repeal and Separability Clauses - All issuances, orders, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this Executive Order are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly. (Section 3) - If any provision of this Executive Order is declared invalid or unconstitutional, the other provisions not affected shall remain valid and subsisting. (Section 4) Effectivity - This Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
