EXECUTIVE ORDER No. 107

DECLARING AND DELINEATING THE KOLAMBUGAN PORT ZONE AND PLACING IT UNDER THE ADMINISTRATIVE JURISDICTION OF THE PHILIPPINE PORTS AUTHORITY (PPA)

WHEREAS, the Port of Kolambugan in Kolambugan, Lanao Del Norte is one of the major and busiest ports in the country; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to define the Port Zone of Kolambugan for the planning and development of the necessary port facilities thereat to support the demands of shipping trade within the region.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:

SECTION 1. Port of Kolambugan. The territorial jurisdiction of the Port of Kolambugan situated in the Municipality of Kolambugan, Province of Lanao del Norte, is hereby delineated and established, particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a point marked 1 on the plan, being N. 73 deg. 23' W., 198.06 m. from BLLM No. 1, PLS-89, thence:

(Preamble) - There is a need to define the Port Zone of Kolambugan for planning and development of necessary port facilities to support shipping trade demands in the region. (Preamble) Delineation of Kolambugan Port Zone (Section 1): - The territorial jurisdiction of the Port of Kolambugan in Kolambugan, Lanao del Norte is delineated and established with specific boundaries and coordinates. - The total area of the Kolambugan Port Zone is FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY-FOUR THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED SIXTY-EIGHT (534,968) SQUARE METERS, more or less. PPA Jurisdiction (Section 2): - The Kolambugan Port Zone, as delineated, is placed under the administrative jurisdiction of the PPA. - The PPA shall implement a program for proper zoning, planning, development, and utilization of the port, consistent with the regional industrial plans of the government. Repeal of Inconsistent Issuances (Section 3): - All issuances, orders, rules, and regulations, or parts thereof, which are inconsistent with this Executive Order are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly. Separability Clause (Section 4): - If any provision of this Executive Order is declared invalid or unconstitutional, the other provisions not affected shall remain valid and subsisting.
