PROCLAMATION No. 1298

DECLARING FRIDAY, 24 JUNE 2016, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TABACO, PROVINCE OF ALBAY

WHEREAS, on Friday, 24 June 2016, the City of Tabaco, Albay marks the celebration of the Tabak Festival, a showcase of the source of livelihood of the City of Tabaco and the street presentations of local folklore;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Tabaco, Albay be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA, JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Friday, 24 June 2016, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Tabaco, Province of Albay.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
