Case Overview and Summary

Summary of Proclamation No. 380

Declaration of Special Public Holiday
- Saturday, April 4, 1953 is declared a special public holiday. (Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code)
- The reason for declaring it a special public holiday is that the second day (Holy Thursday) and the third day (Good Friday) of April 1953 are already public holidays, and declaring the fourth day (Saturday) as a special public holiday will not cause any disadvantage to the public in general.
