- Tuesday, 29 July 2014, is declared a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eidl Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan). (Section: WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 9177 declared Eidl Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan) as a regular holiday throughout the country; and NOW, THEREFORE, I, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, 29 July 2014, as a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eidl Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan).)
Significance of Eidl Fitr

DECLARING TUESDAY, 29 JULY 2014, AS A REGULAR HOLIDAY THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY IN OBSERVANCE OF EIDL FITR (FEAST OF RAMADHAN)
WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 9177 declared Eidl Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan) as a regular holiday throughout the country;
WHEREAS, Eidl Fitr is celebrated by the Muslim World for three (3) days after the end of the month of fasting;
