BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES
Proclamation No. 211
DECLARING WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 1950, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCES OF MINDORO ORIENTAL AND MINDORO OCCIDENTAL.
WHEREAS, the creation of the Provinces of Mindoro Oriental and Mindoro Occidental will take effect on November 15, 1950; and
WHEREAS, the people of said provinces desire to celebrate the day with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Elpidio Quirino, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Wednesday, November 15, 1950, as a special holiday in the Provinces of Mindoro Oriental and Mindoro Occidental.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 23rd day of October, in the year of our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the fifth.
