EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 373 February 8, 1972 DESIGNATING THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY TO WIND UP THE AFFAIRS OF THE BOARD OF INDUSTRIES WHEREAS, under Republic Act No. 3127, as amended, the Board of Industries expired on December 31, 1971; WHEREAS, there is an urgent need to designate one government agency to undertake the winding up operations of said office; WHEREAS, the Board of Liquidators has suggested that the proper agency that can well take charge of winding up the affairs of the Board of Industries would be the Department of Commerce and Industry; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby designate and order the Department of Commerce and Industry to wind up the affairs of the Board of Industries within a period not exceeding six (6) months from December 31, 1971. Done in the City of Manila, this 8th day of February, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-two.
