- The Philippine Tuberculosis Society should receive support and cooperation to carry out its mission more effectively and extensively. (Preamble)
- The period from August 19 to September 19, 1951, is designated as "Anti-Tuberculosis Month". (Section 1)
- The Philippine Tuberculosis Society is authorized to conduct a national fund and educational drive during the said period. (Section 1)
- All citizens and residents of the Philippines, irrespective of nationality or creed, are called upon to assist in this humanitarian campaign by giving generously. (Section 1)
- All treasurers of provincial, city, and municipal governments, as well as school officials, are authorized to accept voluntary contributions and donations for the Philippine Tuberculosis Society and issue official receipts. (Section 1)

MALACAÑANGManila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES Proclamation No. 262 DESIGNATING THE PERIOD FROM AUGUST 19 TO SEPTEMBER 19, 1951, AS "ANTI-TUBERCULOSIS MONTH" AND AUTHORIZING THE PHILIPPINE TUBERCULOSIS SOCIETY TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND AND EDUCATIONAL DRIVE DURING THE SAID PERIOD. WHEREAS, although considerable progress has been achieved in containing the ravages of tuberculosis in the Philippines through the unrelenting efforts and activities of the Philippine Tuberculosis Society in cooperation with the Government, this disease continues to be a great menace to the health of the nation; WHEREAS, the prevention and control of this scourge must necessarily, be a gradual process from year to year, for which reason it is imperative that facilities be made available not only to maintain the commendable work already accomplished but also to make possible the progressive diminution of the mortality and incidence from tuberulosis with the end in view of ultimately stamping out this malady; and WHEREAS, for the attainment of these objectives, which are aimed to promote the health and welfare of the people, the Philippine Tuberculosis Society...
