DESIGNATING THE THIRD FRIDAY OF OCTOBER OF EACH YEAR AS NATIONAL CHILD HEALTH DAY
As the future of a nation depends to a great measure upon the children of today, and the responsibility for the well-being of the children is a community responsibility as well as an individual duty, and realizing that the celebration of a child health day every year will help arouse public consciousness to this responsibility;
Now, therefore, I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, do hereby designate the third Friday of October of each year as National Child Health Day, and enjoin all the residents of the Philippines to use this day for the consideration of all public and private measures by which the health of our children may be conserved and advanced.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.

- The third Friday of October of each year is designated as National Child Health Day.
