REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11707
AN ACT DECLARING THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN JOSE IN THE PROVINCE OF BATANGAS, AS THE "EGG BASKET OF THE PHILIPPINES"
SECTION 1. Short Title. — This Act shall be known as the "Egg Basket Act."
SECTION 2. Egg Basket of the Philippines. — The Municipality of San Jose in the Province of Batangas is hereby declared as the "Egg Basket of the Philippines" in recognition of the economic significance of its egg industry in both local and national levels.
SECTION 3. Repealing Clause. — Any law, presidential decree or issuance, executive order, letter of instruction, rule or regulation inconsistent or contrary to the provisions of this Act is hereby repealed or modified accordingly.
SECTION 4. Effectivity. — This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.

Lapsed into law on April 17, 2022 without the signature of the President, in accordance with Article VI, Section 27 (1) of the Constitution.
