Environmental Protection and Development of Public Lands in the Province of Bataan- Preservation of the integrity of the environment, including national parks, national shrines, forest and watershed reservations.
- Development of the economic and environmental potential of the Province of Bataan.
- Protection of various industrial, infrastructural, power, settlement, commemorative shrine, tourism complexes, areas, sites and improvements.
- All public lands, particularly national parks, forest and watershed reservations, and public forest lands, shall be developed and managed for their intended purposes.
- Cooperation in protecting and developing public lands for integrated and harmonious enterprise, with attention to the benefit of inhabitants.
- Implementation of ameliorating or improving practices, such as reforestation.
- Prevention of grass and forest fires.
- Ban on logging or cutting of forest trees.
- Prohibition of destructive activities like kaingin making, grazing, pasturing or cultivation that cause erosion, sedimentation, siltation, floods or droughts.
- Ejection and/or prosecution of illegal occupants, settlers or users, if any, in conformity with laws and regulations.
- Formulation of plans and programs to assure productive livelihood for families living in public lands, if any.
- Limitation of cultivation to two hectares per family under the integrating plans and programs.
- Qualification of families under the pertinent provisions of Presidential Decree No. 705, as amended, to be permitted for cultivation.

EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 713 July 30, 1981
TO: The Minister of Human Settlements
The Minister of Natural Resources
The Executive Director, Commission on the Settlement of Land Problems
The Governor of the Province of Bataan
The Chief of Constabulary
SUBJECT: Environmental Protection and Development of Public Lands in the Province of Bataan.
In consonance with appropriate laws, decrees and orders, pertaining to the preservation of the integrity of the environment, including national parks, national shrines, forest and watershed reservations; in line with the plans and programs of the government to develop the full economic and environmental potential of the Province of Bataan; and in order to protect the various industrial, infrastructural, power, settlement, commemorative shrine, tourism, etc. complexes, areas, sites and improvements therein, all public lands, in particular national parks forest and watershed reservations and public forest lands, shall be developed and managed for the purposes they were established.
All concerned are directed to cooperate in protecting and developing the aforecited public lands so that the improvement and conservation of these and surrounding areas are...
