PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 1303 February 15, 1978
ESTABLISHING A VOCATIONAL SCHOOL IN THE PROVINCE OF BASILAN TO BE KNOWN AS THE BASILAN NATIONAL AGRO-INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
WHEREAS, Basilan is primarily agricultural in economy and the development of the province hinges mostly in improving its agriculture;
WHEREAS, an agro-industrial school, will best serve the needs for the development of said province; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of an Agro-Industrial school has been sought by the residents of Basilan to enhance the development objectives of the government in their province;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution do hereby order and decree:
Section 1. A national vocational school to be known as the Basilan National Agro-Industrial shall be established in the province of Basilan.
Section 2. The Secretary of Education and Culture is hereby authorized to organize said school accordingly.
