REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11558
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A GENERAL HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ROSALES, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN TO BE KNOWN AS THE CONRADO F. ESTRELLA REGIONAL MEDICAL AND TRAUMA CENTER, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1.There is hereby established a one hundred (100)-bed capacity, Level II general hospital in the Municipality of Rosales, Province of Pangasinan to be known as the Conrado F. Estrella Regional Medical and Trauma Center, which shall be under the direct control and supervision of the Department of Health (DOH).
Any future increase in bed capacity and upgrading of health care services and facilities shall be consistent with the hospital development plan, which shall be prepared by the DOH to reflect the developmental goals of the hospital.
SECTION 2.The amount of Nine hundred million pesos (P900,000,000.00) is hereby appropriated for the implementation of this Act which shall be included and funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Act under the Health Facilities Enhancement Program...
Establishment of a General Hospital
- A 100-bed capacity, Level II general hospital is established in the Municipality of Rosales, Province of Pangasinan, to be known as the Conrado F. Estrella Regional Medical and Trauma Center. (Section 1)
- The hospital shall be under the direct control and supervision of the Department of Health (DOH). (Section 1)
- Any future increase in bed capacity and upgrading of health care services and facilities shall be consistent with the hospital development plan prepared by the DOH. (Section 1)
Appropriation of Funds
- An amount of Nine hundred million pesos (P900,000,000.00) is appropriated for the implementation of this Act, to be included and funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Act under the Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP) of the DOH. (Section 2)
Implementation and Regulations
- Within 90 days from the effectivity of this Act, the Secretary of Health shall prepare and issue the necessary rules and regulations for the effective implementation of this Act, consistent with the hospital development plan. (Section 3)
Separability Clause
- If any provision or part of this Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining parts or provisions not affected shall remain in full force and effect. (Section 4)
Repealing Clause
- All laws, executive orders, issuances, rules and regulations inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. (Section 5)
Effectivity
- This Act shall take effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. (Section 6)
