Establishment of Samar Island Medical Center
- A tertiary hospital to be known as the Samar Island Medical Center shall be established in the City of Calbayog, Province of Samar. (Section 1)
- The hospital shall be under the direct control and supervision of the Department of Health (DOH). (Section 1)

Hospital Development Plan
- Any increase in bed capacity and upgrading of health care services and facilities shall be based on the hospital development plan prepared by the DOH. (Section 2)

Funding and Implementation
- The Secretary of the DOH shall immediately include the implementation of this Act in the Department's program. (Section 3)
- The funding for the implementation shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. (Section 3)

Separability Clause
- If any provision or part of this Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining parts or provisions not affected shall remain in full force and effect. (Section 4)

Repealing Clause
- All laws, executive orders, issuances, rules and regulations inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. (Section 5)

Effectivity Clause
- This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. (Section 6)
