EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 208 DATED OCTOBER 5, 1937, A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE BARRIOS OF TAPOL, CAMP VI, CAMP VII, MANDUANG AND KUANOS, MUNICIPALITIES OF TALISAY AND MINGLANILLA, PROVINCE OF CEBU, ISLAND OF CEBU, AND DECLARING THE SAME OPEN FOR DISPOSITION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE MINING ACT
WEEBEAS, Juan B. Echavez has requested for the exclusion of a certain area under Survey Bsm-69 of the Bureau of Mines containing 396 hectares from the Talisay-Minglanilla Forest Reserve established under Proclamation No. 208 dated October 5, 1937;
WHEREAS, according to the report of the Director of Mines, the area sought to be excluded from the Talisay-Minglanilla Forest Reserve appears to be mineralized; and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of section fourteen of Commonwealth Act Numbered one hundred and thirty-seven, otherwise known as the Mining Act, lands within reservations for purposes other than mining, which, after such reservation is made, are found to be more valuable for their mineral...

Exclusion of Land from Talisay-Minglanilla Forest Reserve
- Excludes a 356.20-hectare parcel of land from the Talisay-Minglanilla Forest Reserve established under Proclamation No. 208 dated October 5, 1937. (Section 14, Commonwealth Act No. 137)
- The land is situated in the barrios of Tapol, Camp VI, Camp VII, Manduang, and Kuanos, municipalities of Talisay and Minglanilla, Cebu Island.
- The exclusion is based on the request of Juan B. Echavez and the report of the Director of Mines that the area appears to be mineralized.
Opening of Excluded Land for Mining Disposition
- The excluded land is declared open for disposition under the provisions of the Mining Act (Commonwealth Act No. 137).
Technical Description of Excluded Land
- The technical description of the excluded land, including the boundaries, corners, and area, is provided in detail.
Conditions for Timber Utilization and Reversion
- The cutting, removal, and utilization of timber and other forest products from the excluded land shall be in accordance with forest laws and regulations.
- If the area is abandoned for mining purposes, it shall revert to being part of the forest reserve.
Congressional Concurrence Requirement
- This proclamation shall take effect only upon the concurrence of the Congress of the Philippines.
