EXTENDING THE EFFECTIVITY OF THE RATES OF IMPORT DUTIES ON CERTAIN ARTICLES UNDER SECTION 104 OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1464, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE TARIFF AND CUSTOMS CODE OF 1978, AS MODIFIED BY NATIONAL EMERGENCY MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 8, SERIES OF 1990
Pursuant to the powers vested in me by Section 401 of the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines, as amended, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby order:
Sec. 1. The rates of import duties on certain articles under Section 104 of Presidential Decree No. 1464, otherwise known as Tariff and Customs Code of 1978 as modified by the National Emergency Memorandum Order No. 8, Series of 1990, shall remain in force and effect until otherwise revised.
Sec. 2. This Executive Order shall take effect beginning June 8, 1990, subject to its publication in at least two (2) national newspapers of general circulation.
