Extension of the Presidential Commission on Reorganization

Reasons for Extension
- The installation of the reorganization provided for under the Integrated Reorganization Plan, as amended, remains to be completed. (Whereas Clause 1)
- Major changes in the Reorganization Plan have been adopted, particularly the creation of new departments, which require implementation and reflection in the National Budget for Fiscal Year 1974-1975, especially the new staffing patterns. (Whereas Clause 2)
- There may be further need to review and make final adjustments in the Integrated Reorganization Plan, which requires continued technical assistance in completing the final phases of the reorganization work. (Whereas Clause 3)
- There is a need to continue staff support to the Career Executive Service Board, which was created under the Integrated Reorganization Plan. (Whereas Clause 4)

Directives for Implementation
- The Executive Secretary shall issue the necessary directives for the detail or the extension of the detail of such technical personnel as may be needed by the Commission, under the same conditions as prescribed in Executive Order No. 281, as amended. (Section 2)
- The Commission is authorized to disburse and defray all expenses for its operation from July 1, 1974 to December 31, 1974, from funds as may be available from the Office of the President. (Section 3)
